Holland Bloorview welcomes new President and CEO, Julia Hanigsberg
TORONTO (January 12, 2015) – The Board of Trustees of Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital is pleased to welcome Julia Hanigsberg as president and chief executive officer.
Starting today, Julia Hanigsberg assumes the leadership of Holland Bloorview, bringing considerable experience in government, law and the public sector. Widely recognized as a strong, collaborative relationship builder, Julia most recently served as Vice-President of Administration and Finance at Ryerson University.

She possesses the skills and experience needed to ensure Holland Bloorview remains focused on becoming a world leader in the field of childhood disability.”
Julia holds a BCL and LLB from McGill’s Faculty of Law, and an LLM from Columbia University Law School where she held a Fulbright fellowship and a Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada fellowship.
Prior to her role as Vice-President at Ryerson, Julia served as General Counsel and Secretary of the Ryerson Board of Governors and Interim Dean of The G. Raymond Chang School of Continuing Education.
Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital is Canada’s largest children’s rehabilitation hospital dedicated to improving the lives of children with disabilities.
