From the bedside to the boardroom: the impact of client and family centred care. Join us for a lunch hour panel discussion at Holland Bloorview on June 15. (Live webcast available.)

Everyone is invited to a lunch hour panel discussion about the impact of client and family centred at Holland Bloorview: what works and strategies for success. The discussion will feature:

  • Kate Hauer, registered nurse, and Emma Evans, Children’s Advisory Council member and client, talking about their shared client and family centred care experiences
  • Lies Ferriman, a family leader, and Dr.Golda Milo-Manson, VP of medicine and academic affairs, sharing how they successfully collaborate on the quality committee of the board
  • Cheryl Peters, Family Advisory Committee co-chair, and Michelle Balkaran, clinical resource leader, discussing how families and staff helped co-create the new client and family centred care simulation training

The event will be moderated by Louise Kinross, editor of the BLOOM blog and magazine, which offer insights about parenting and providing care for kids with disabilities.
