Clients and Families Invited to Register for CP-NET Science & Family Day October 1

To celebrate World CP Day on October 1, Holland Bloorview is hosting “Creating Possibilities for CP: CP-NET Science and Family Day” at Holland Bloorview.

Clients, family and staff are invited to register by Friday, September 26 to join and learn about the newest CP-NET research, technology advancements and community resources.

The day will include a talk about stem cells from Dr. Michael Fehlings and Dr. Cindi Morshead, as well as a presentation on Technology & CP from Dr. Elaine Biddiss, Dr. Tom Chau, Dr. Nicholas Graham and Linda Fay.

A registration fee will include lunch, entertainment and a free gift:
• $25 per client/caregiver/family-member
• $40 per clinician/not-for-profit organization representative/other

Space is limited, so please register by September 26.

CP-NET is a “Brain Research Network” of scientists & clinicians across Ontario focused on making new discoveries in CP. CP-NET is funded by the Ontario Brain Institute.

After the presentations, a CP Community Resource Open House and World CP Day Celebration will run from 3 - 4:30 p.m.
