Research co-ordinator

Christelle-Jean Chow, BKin, R.Kin (Ont. pending), is the research co-ordinator for the Igniting Fitness Possibilities program developed by the University of Toronto and Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital. She specializes in developing inclusive and adapted physical literacy programs for children and youth of all abilities.

In addition to her work in the field of physical literacy, Christelle has been involved in programs targeting social skills and emotional regulation for children and youth with autism and ADHD to address challenging behaviour and skills deficits.

Christelle has also merged both her passion for dance and inclusion into one cohesive practice. She is the executive director and co-founder of Dance PossAbilities, an educational platform and consulting agency for dance teachers focused on building inclusive and accessible dance classes.

Christelle understands that there is not always a single approach that is right for every individual, so she is driven to find the best modalities to suit the individual needs of all her students. She is the instructor and primary contact for families for the Igniting Fitness Possibilities program.
