Who is eligible?

At the time of application, students must be in 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th year of an undergraduate degree program. Students in medical school may also apply. Students registered in a MSc/MA or PhD program are not eligible for summer studentships. Students who have taken part in this program before may not re-apply.

What is funded?

The studentship is $4797.00 (based on an hourly rate of $10.25 for a 37.5 hour week, less statutory deductions, including 4% in lieu of vacation) for the 12-week program. Students will be paid biweekly through payroll.

How do I apply?

Interested applicants are advised to review Holland Bloorview's Summer Student Program information, select a maximum of three scientists and indicate in your cover letter how your interests align with the particular scientists you would like to work with.  Please do not contact the scientists directly

Students should submit their resume, (unofficial) university transcripts and a letter of reference (from a professor or previous employer).  If there is any part of your application package missing you will not be considered for the position.

Due to the volume of applications received, only students selected for an interview will be contacted.
