Description
This invitational workshop will focus on new theoretical foundations, innovative designs and ethical dilemmas pertaining to conducting research with children in disability/health-care contexts. It is organized around presentations by acclaimed European and Canadian clinical and social researchers and theorists. Participants will include senior and junior scientists, doctoral students, and postdoctoral fellows associated with the University of Toronto, Bloorview Research Institute and SickKids Research Institute.
The 3D workshop will afford a critical mass of interdisciplinary researchers unprecedented opportunities to share knowledge and skills, form innovative collaborations and provoke new lines of research for children who have a disability or chronic illness. Sessions will be videotaped for webcasting and an electronic bibliography of state-of-the-art methodological literature will be provided to participants.

Please note that this is an invitational workshop and space is limited to 40 invitees. Please register on or before September 14, 2009.

- Scientists: $150
- Gradutate Student/Post Doctoral Fellows/Research Associate: $50
