Children - Swimmers with a disability
Priority in our programs is always given to children who have a disability and their siblings. In-person registration for swimmers with a disability is required so we can ensure that we are able to meet the individual needs of your child, providing you with safe and productive lessons. If you are registering a child with a disability please look at the Red Cross Swimming page and follow the registration directions there.
No access to Internet
If you do not have internet access you are welcome to come to our facility to register. Computer access will be made available at Holland Bloorview in our front lobby for two hours, starting at the time online registration opens. For in-person registration AFTER this date, please contact the pool office at 416-425-6220 ext. 3063 (for swimming lessons) or ext. 3064 (for Aquafitness) to make an appointment to come to the pool office to register in person.
Refunds
The program fee will be refunded (less a $20.00 processing fee per child), when the Aquatics Manager is notified in writing no later than one week prior to the first lesson. Once the session has started, a refund will be given (less the processing fee) from the point at which the spot is filled. This may or may not be possible.
Class Cancellations
All classes are subject to cancellation if registration is insufficient. You would be notified in this event and no charge would apply.
Make-Up Classes
Missed classes cannot be made up for any reason. In the event of a pool closure, dryland lessons or credit notes will be issued.
Changing Classes After Registration
After registration, there is a $10.00 fee to change the day/time you have registered for. If the change occurs within a week of the first day of the program, an additional $10 fee also applies.
Program Payment
We accept cheque (payable to Holland Bloorview), Visa, MasterCard or cash (during office hours only). Online payment must be made by credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover). Payment must be received at the time of registration to reserve your spot.
Family Discount
When 3 or more children from the same immediate family are registered in the same session in “Without Parent” levels, a 15% discount is applied to the 3rd and subsequent child/ren.
