Child Development Program: Saliva Management Clinic

The Saliva Management Clinic is an interdisciplinary clinic designed to assess children and youth who have difficulty with drooling and/or aspiration of saliva. 

Clinics are held once a month and involve individual assessments by a team consisting of a speech-language pathologist, social worker, pediatric dentist, and an ear, nose and throat specialist.

The team then meets with the client, family/caregivers and any community professionals in attendance to discuss findings and recommendations for management.

Populations served:
Any child or youth between the ages of 4 and 18 may be referred. 

Referrals

A physician referral is required.
