Bloorview Kids Foundation names school library BMO Financial Group School Library

TORONTO, ON – On Thursday, May 29th, Bloorview Kids Foundation will honour BMO Financial Group’s instrumental campaign gift of $450,000 with a naming dedication of the Bloorview School Library – BMO Financial Group School Library

BMO Financial Group has donated over $525,000 to Bloorview Kids Foundation in support of Bloorview Kids Rehab.   Building on their commitment to creating a world of possibility for children with disabilities, BMO Financial Group is also this year’s Presenting Sponsor of Bloorview Kids Foundation’s signature gala event: An Evening of Possibility.  In celebration and appreciation of BMO Financial Group’s dedicated support the official dedication will take place on Thursday, May 29th.

  • Eden Worth, Bloorview Child Ambassador was diagnosed with a brain tumour at age 5.  Four months after undergoing surgery, Eden came to Bloorview where she received several treatments including physiotherapy, speech, music, and occupational therapies.  At Bloorview, her greatest achievements included learning how to ride a bike and re-learning how to write after her surgery.

Bloorview Kids Foundation develops relationships and raises funds from the community for Bloorview Kids Rehab.  Bloorview is Canada’s largest pediatric rehabilitation and complex continuing care teaching hospital, fully affiliated with the University of Toronto.  Bloorview’s work covers the full spectrum from clinical care and treatment, to assistive technologies and rehab therapies, to creative arts, education and research to empower children with disabilities.  Every day, donor support enables our world-class medical care, research and education programs to enrich the lives of thousands of children with disabilities and their families.
