Holland Bloorview sends a team to Haiti

Following the earthquake in Haiti in January, many health-care organizations stepped forward to help provide initial emergency health care and support. A number of months later, the focus is now on rebuilding and providing longer term supports that are needed, including rehabilitation services. Holland Bloorview is pleased to be sending a team of professionals to Haiti October 16 -26 to be a part of these efforts.

Holland Bloorview has worked in partnership with St. Joseph’s Hospital in Hamilton, and Healing Hands for Haiti to deploy our team to the Haiti Medical Mission of Memphis, located in Croix des Bouquets.

A blog has been set up to keep Holland Bloorview staff, and friends and family of our team members informed of their work while they are away.
