ROGERS TV TO AIR FILMPOSSIBLE, A DOCUMENTARY

Rogers TV has given Holland Bloorview an incredible opportunity to introduce filmpossible to people of all ages and abilities who believe in changing the way the world sees childhood disability. On May 16, 18 and 21 at 10PM, Rogers TV will be airing Filmpossible, a one-hour documentary that shines the spotlight on kids with disabilities. Watch the promo here!

Filmpossible, the documentary, explores Holland Bloorview’s unique online contest of the same name that challenges Canadians to bring visibility to disability with short videos (and soon, photography!) Featuring several of the 2010 contest entrants and judges, Karen Shopsowitz and Justin Hines, the documentarytells the story of a contest that inspired over 73 entrants and over 100,000 visitors.

This year’s filmpossible is set to launch June 20th, and Holland Bloorview is excited to announce the addition of photography submissions to the contest.  We hope this will expand the potential for entrants to spread their messages of hope, inclusion and human potential.
