Clean Hands Protect Lives

Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital is proud to be participating in Clean Hands Protect Lives, a campaign aimed at increasing the awareness of clients and families about the importance of effective hand cleaning. 

Hand cleaning is one of the best ways you and your health-care team can prevent the spread of many infections.  Everyone has an active role to play in ensuring good hand cleaning.

Clean Hands Protect Lives is aligned with the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care’s, Just Clean Your Hands program , which was developed to help health-care providers improve their hand cleaning so that it becomes part of each hospital’s culture.

Through Clean Hands Protect Lives clients and families will learn the importance of hand cleaning, ensuring that we are all cleaning our hands at the right time and the right way. 

At Holland Bloorview we are committed to providing the best possible care for our clients and families, which includes a hand cleaning program. 

Hand sanitizing stations are also placed throughout Holland Bloorview, including at the front entrance.
