Emily

Nine year old Emily was born with myotubular myopathy, a disease that severely affects her respiratory and
digestive systems. But thanks to intensive therapy Emily has learned to spread her wings.

Since her arrival here as a wee babe her vocabulary has blossomed. Her strength has improved. Her bright, outgoing personality has emerged. And she has mastered her electric wheelchair.

Now, able to live at home with her family, the metamorphosis continues. From quiet little girl to social butterfly.
