16th Annual Toshiba Celebrity Golf Classic

This year’s 16th Annual Toshiba Celebrity Golf Classic at Angus Glen Golf Club was a hit. The sweltering summer heat didn’t stop the countless celebrities and donors from enthusiastically teeing off. Some of the celebrities in attendance included: Roberto Alomar, former Toronto Blue Jay; Walter Gretzky, father of Wayne Gretzky; Michael Burgess, acclaimed Canadian singer, Robert Pilon, acclaimed Canadian singer, Alan Frew, lead singer of Glass Tiger and Gary Leeman, former Toronto Maple Leaf.
The event started off with an 18-hole round of golf, followed by a formal dinner with live music and silent auction. This year’s event helped raise approximately $100,000 for Bloorview Kids Rehab, Canada’s largest children’s rehabilitation hospital. We are grateful to our generous donors and to Toshiba for hosting this spectacular annual event.
