On Monday, February 25th, 2008, Splendido Restaurant held its 6th annual dinner in support of Bloorview Kids Rehab’s Nursery School Program.
The evening began with a champagne reception in their prized wine cellar with a selection of Canapés, which was followed by a spectacular 4-course dinner created by Chef David Lee. To accompany each dish, Splendido’s Sommelier, Carlo Catallo, paired the meal with exciting wines courtesy of Charton Hobbs. The evening received well-deserved recognition thanks to the evening’s media sponsor CTV.

Yannick Bigourdan and David Lee continue to demonstrate leadership and passion for Bloorview and the thousands of children Bloorview serves. This outstanding event continues to empower children in the Bloorview Nursery School Program, a community based service built on the principles of inclusion and integration. Under the guidance of a multidisciplinary team of educators and therapists, kids with disabilities and able-bodied youngsters alike grow, learn and participate together.
The evening of spectacular food and wine raised over $31,000.00 for Bloorview. The funds raised will be used to support families that could not otherwise afford the Nursery School Program. We thank Yannick and David for their continued enthusiasm and dedication, and for helping Bloorview turn disability into possibility.
