McHappy Day

On May 9th, the Bayview and Eglinton & Yonge and Eglinton McDonald’s participated in McHappy Day, where $1 from the sale of Big Macs, all McMuffin sandwiches, and every Happy Meal were donated to Bloorview Kids Rehab. Bloorview Ambassadors, clients and staff, and community volunteers were enthusiastically selling balloons and Ronald Red Shoes throughout the day. Several local celebrities came out to support the event, including former Leafs player Steve Thomas, Paralympian Jeff Adams, and Carleton the Bear. At the end of the day, McHappy Day 2007 raised a record-breaking $6,000.
