6. ‘Tony and Friends’ Golf Tournament

Tony Leask has some amazing friends. In 2008, while playing a round of golf, he suffered a life altering stroke. In addition to having a special needs daughter, a lifelong client at Holland Bloorview, Tony faced his own uncertain future. His friends and family rallied around him in the days and months that followed and decided to host a golf tournament to lift Tony’s spirits and raise funds for both the Heart & Stroke Foundation and Holland Bloorview. Thanks to Tony and his friends, $15,000 was raised for kids with disabilities.
