Tom Muir is the past Chair of Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital Foundation and a member of the Board of Trustees of Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital. He is Co-Managing Director of Muir Detlefsen & Associates Limited, a private equity co-investment firm, Chief Transaction Officer and a Director of Ceres Global Ag Corp. (TSX), and a Director of a number of other public companies. From 1995 through 2006, Mr. Muir was with Maple Leaf Foods where he served as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Development Officer.
Prior to joining Maple Leaf Foods, Mr. Muir served as Vice-President and Director and Co-Head of Investment Banking of RBC Dominion Securities. He is a Chartered Accountant and a Fellow, Chartered Business Valuator.
Mr. Muir joined the board of Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital Foundation in 2003 and he is a cross appointed Trustee of Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital.
