FACTS


Almost 90 per cent of 400 children with autism in Massachusetts are bullied, according to an online survey filled out by their parents. More than half of the parents said their children were hit, kicked or chased. Nearly 40 per cent had been bullied for over a year. The survey was conducted by the Massachusetts Advocates for Children. Only 32 per cent of parents said the school responded adequately.
