Child Development Clinic services transferring to Holland Bloorview

In an effort to better align services and resources in the community, the Child Development Clinic at North York General Hospital will be transitioning its assessment and diagnosis services to the Child Development Program at Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital, effective April 1, 2014.

Our Child Development Program here at Holland Bloorview provides outpatient services to children with complex medical conditions and symptoms such as cerebral palsy, spina bifida, Duchenne's muscular dystrophy, autism or other developmental concerns.

We are committed to making this a smooth transition for patients and their families. Patients currently on the wait list at North York General will be transitioned to Holland Bloorview on February 18, 2014, and will be notified of their appointment by Holland Bloorview in the coming weeks. Wait times should not be impacted.

Referral information for physicians and healthcare providers:

To ensure patients do not experience unnecessary delays in securing an appointment, referrals should be made to Holland Bloorview starting February 3, 2014. Our referral form can be found on our website under Make a referral.
