H1N1 Vaccine

Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital recommends both the H1N1 vaccine and the seasonal flu vaccine for Holland Bloorview clients over the age of 6 months. Receiving all recommended vaccinations is the easiest way for our clients, families and staff to reduce their risk of catching and spreading viruses. Vaccinations combined with regular hand washing/sanitizing is the best way to prevent the spread of illness.

In addition, if your child has not received the pneumococcal 23 immunization in the past 5 years, we recommend that you talk to your family physician about whether your child needs this immunization as well.
