Facility: Guided Tours

General tours of Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital are available and are approximately 1 hour in length.  These tours are conducted by volunteer tour guides and include a general overview of the history of Holland Bloorview as well as architectural highlights of the building.

If you are looking for a tour of a specific program or service, please contact the area of interest directly.

Tour spots are reserved at least 10 days in advance of the scheduled tour. Holland Bloorview reserves the right to cancel tours if there are not enough participants.

If you would like access to a patient care area, please apply in writing (e-mail is satisfactory) for Professional Observer Status to the manager of the department of interest. We limit access to patient care areas during general tours including units, clinics, team stations, treatment rooms, occupied patient rooms and playrooms to protect the privacy of clients and for infection control purposes.

Upon arrival to Holland Bloorview, all visitors must sign in and wear a visitor sticker throughout the tour. We kindly ask you to reschedule if you are feeling ill to lessen the spread of illness or infection to Holland Bloorview clients.
