John Ronson

John is presently Practice Leader for the Health Strategy Practice at Telus Corporation.   He has an extensive background in strategy, risk management, governance and operations, and  has demonstrated board leadership of human resources and compensation governance with in-depth work on executive compensation and CEO succession planning. He has significant audit committee experience on multiple boards and has led a board finance and risk management committee. 

As a consultant, John’s experience includes healthcare strategy development and acting as a governance and executive advisor.  John has extensive experience in, and understanding of, the healthcare, technology, regulated industry and professional service sectors.

John practiced corporate law with a top Canadian law firm, working extensively on mergers and acquisitions.

His volunteer positions include Board Advisory Committee on Oncology at the University Health Network and the Centre for Health Economics and Policy Analysis, McMaster University, Advisory Committee member.
