Jackie Schleifer Taylor is Vice President of Programs and Services at Holland Bloorview. In addition to the clinical programs and services that serve about 7,000 children and youth each year, Ms. Schleifer Taylor oversees Quality, Safety and Collaborative Practice at Holland Bloorview.

With a broad range of Ontario hospital experience, she is recognized by her colleagues for her leadership, excellent interpersonal skills, strategic aptitude and results orientation. Throughout her career, she has been sought after for her professional expertise as is evident through the many academic appointments she holds and has held at University of Toronto, McMaster University, Michener Institute for Applied Health Sciences and Centennial College.

Before joining Holland Bloorview in 2011, Ms. Schleifer Taylor was the Vice President, Quality, Equity & Performance and Chief of Health Disciplines at Women’s College Hospital, where her role included broad accountability across a number of portfolios. Prior to joining Women’s College, she held progressively senior roles at St. Michael’s Hospital in Toronto, St. Joseph’s Health Centre in Toronto, West Park Healthcare Centre and Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. In addition, she is a past Board Member at Rouge Valley Health System, and was the provincial co-lead for the Interprofessional Collaboration Initiative at the Ontario Health Ministry.

Ms. Schleifer Taylor holds a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Health Sciences (Physiotherapy) from McMaster University, a Master of Science from University of Toronto and is currently pursuing her PhD in Rehabilitation Science at University of Toronto (Practice Science Candidate 2012).
